As managing director and CEO of <\/span>UBA Global Markets<\/b> now <\/span>UBA Capital<\/b>, Mr. Ayere under the guidance of his mentor, <\/span>Tony Elumelu<\/b> successfully launched and directed the investment banking arm of <\/span>UBA Group Plc<\/b> between the year 2005 and 2009, hence, raising and trading more than $6.4bn for both sovereign clients & corporations.<\/span><\/p>\n

That market is now worth over NGN 6.5trillion ($41.7bn). At the IFC, Mr. Ayere held the role of structured finance specialist for<\/span> sub-Saharan Africa<\/b>. He developed structured finance and securitisation transactions in addition to creating instruments that support value in debt capital markets. He is also the current president of <\/span>Association of Issuing Houses of Nigeria<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
