Parents should talk to their children and create an atmosphere where their children can tell them anything no matter how bad. If they find succour at home; you won’t lose them to their friends or other people.<\/p>\n
A lot of heartbreaks can be traced to peer pressure. Issues ranging from incest to rape are caused by peer pressure. There is this feeling of inferiority complex that young people have and this leads them to accept things that come their way from their friends just to cover up or hide under the blanket of being modern or “in town”. Thus, as parents, we must help our children gain confidence. They should be able to discern between right and wrong principles. We must teach them to value things rightly and appreciate who they are. It is important to make them feel comfortable in the way they look. You need to encourage them instead of condemning them when they make mistakes. Correct them with love. When you do this, your children would be yours and they would groomed into proper adults.<\/p>\n
