In light of this, I put together some areas in Lagos with relatively affordable housing<\/a>;<\/span><\/p>\n

Ojota<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Ojota is one of the most popular places in Lagos. It is located in the Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Nigeria. It is in close proximity to Ikeja\u00a0and Ketu areas which is a bonus for those working in these environs as they would not have to spend so much on transportation to their workplaces. Ojota provides easy access for people who want to travel to other parts of Nigeria as it has one of the major car parks in Lagos State.<\/span><\/p>\n

The highlights of Ojota include; China Town which serves as a home, tourist site or relaxation spot for numerous people including Chinese expatriates, the Gani Fawehinmi Garden and Abiola Gardens.\u00a0The Ojota Market which comprises of several plazas, stalls, and shopping malls, is the main market that serves the people in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gbagada<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

This area can be considered the centre of Lagos as it easily links to most parts of the city. It is more\u00a0of a residential area than commercial. It comprises of areas like Ifako Gbagada, Oworoshoki. Almost all banks have their\u00a0branches\u00a0within the area which is really a plus for residents in this area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ojodu Berger can be viewed as the link between Lagos and Ogun state<\/a>. It is a fairly serene and secure\u00a0environment. Accessibility to Ojodu Berger is very easy and the standard of living is considered by a lot as reasonable. For people working in the Ikeja, Ogba environs, staying in Ojodu Berger<\/a> would be a plus.\u00a0You can rent a 3 bedroom apartment for N300,000 in this environs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oshodi is also a central area and it is also easily accessible with transportation to other parts of Lagos coming cheap. For example, a bus from Oshodi to Ikeja is as low as N100 and from Oshodi to Mile 2 is at most N150. Most bus parks are situated here and here lies the ever popular Oshodi market. Oshodi is in close proximity to Mushin and Isolo.<\/span><\/p>\n
