Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) came into existence through the Lagos State Urban and Regional Planning and Development Law of 2010, but it officially began on the 12th of August,2012. LASBCA is located at works yard road, Old Secretariat, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos. This government agency works together with developers or owners to provide a high-quality service and to make sure that all building works are satisfactorily carried out. LASBCA also works with other government agencies like the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA). This agency ensures that basic minimum standards are maintained in building construction and renovation in order to ensure that existing and new buildings are safe and habitable for life.<\/span><\/p>\n
