It is about ten minutes from the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan. Agodi Gardens was originally created in 1967 and managed by the Western region although it was formerly called Agodi Zoological and Botanical Gardens.<\/p>\n

According to the history of Agodi Gardens, the Ogunpa flood disaster in Ibadan, which happened in 1980 destroyed the garden; the flood swept away most of the animals and left the place in a deplorable state. In 2012, the government decided to renovate it and the Agodi garden was reopened in \u00a02014.<\/p>\n

The entrance fee into Agodi Gardens is 500 naira per person and 500 naira for access to the swimming pool.<\/span> It houses a restaurant and several shops that sell refreshments. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although, external drinks are not allowed into the park although external food is allowed. They also have local shops that sell palm wine, pepper soup, asun and other tasty local recipes. The Agodi waterpark is one of the most prominent features. It has two water slides and three pools which cater to both adults and children alike.<\/span> Agodi has a nice lake where visitors can take a boat ride and enjoy the scenic views of the rest of the garden.<\/span><\/p>\n

The mini zoo in Agodi gardens has a lion, crocodile, a few monkeys, and ducks. There are swings, trampolines, \u00a0bouncy castle and many more games to keep the children busy at the Agodi gardens.
