Arowojobe

Arowojobe is the midpoint between Ladipo and Oshodi Express. It is majorly a residential area, which has derived its prominence from the tarred road in its neighbourhood serving as a link to Ikeja Along from Oshodi. Most people going from Oshodi to Ikeja Along through Charity ply the Arowojobe route as a shortcut to their destination. The road here is good and it is accessible to both car owners and commercial car drivers. However, residents complained that the power supply is bad.

Most of the houses in Arowojobe are old houses, while some of them are poorly maintained, there are a few that are well-maintained. There are just a few gated houses in the area. Others are majorly bungalows without gates.

Some of the schools in the area are; Owoseni Nursery & Primary School, Moyosola Children School, Kis Preparatory Schools, and Malvin Meadow School among others. Some of the popular streets in Arowojobe are Olatunji Street, Orona Street, Adeyemi Street, and Mabajoye Street. There is a central mosque and a good number of churches in Arowojobe of which the Celestial Church on Olatunji Street is the most popular.

However, there are small shops and grocery sellers in the street. So there may not be a need to go to the market except on rare occasions.

Unlike other areas in Oshodi which have a high reputation for street fights, Arowojobe is quite peaceful despite its accessibility and proximity to Ikeja. Arowojobe is strategically located and the road is very good. Arowojobe is not rowdy, it can boast of little or no violence.

Arowojobe houses a good number of working class people, especially those working at Ikeja. Most of the residents are young and middle aged people. There are also a number of people raising families here. The standard of living in Arowojobe is a bit low compared to other areas in Lagos as such, residents may enjoy lower rent and lower prices for goods and services.
