Ezinihitte Mbaise is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Imo State, Nigeria. It was created in 1996, and its headquarters is located in the town of Ihitte Uboma. The LGA is located in the southeastern part of Imo State and is bordered by Ahiazu Mbaise to the north, Mbaitoli to the west, Ikeduru to the south, and Abia State to the east.
Ezinihitte Mbaise is also home to several notable educational institutions, including the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, which is located in the town of Nekede. The LGA has a network of roads that connects it to neighboring LGAs and cities, making it easy for people to travel in and out of the area.
The estimated population of Ezinihitte Mbaise is put at 124,560 inhabitants with the majority of the area’s populace comprising members of the Igbo ethnic group. The Igbo language is widely spoken in the area.
