IN A MONTH

When will this search end? I have dozens of estate agents and I still can’t get a house. Nice house, pay and pack in, to my utmost amazement, it was another dump. Am I really surprised? I have become a philanthropist in paying consultation fee. Come to think of it, I should have started this search months back, 2 months to my wedding, and nothing still.

I won’t use the cliché; I thought all hope was lost…alas! all hope was lost. I had resigned to fate, I will move into my in laws’ BQ with my husband after our wedding. I had just stepped out of my compound, when I saw the power bike, and a guy scribbling something on a paper. Why would he be interested in this house? The landlord wants only Yoruba tenants, I have been living next to him for years, and he won’t make an exception for me.

Out of Curiosity, I moved closer to question him. He told me that he worked with an online real estate firm that every house is a plus and all I had to do was search, Connect and live. I got house in a month!
